Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't have a chance to post this weekend but the Vexercise 2s are now officially "due"! How'd it go? Which version did you try? Are you happy with what you produced? Any new insights about visual continuity, lightbuilding, or transitions? For those of you who did the new transitions vexercise, what did you think of it? Did you find any new favorite transitions?
Stay tuned shortly for the drop of Vexercise 3!

I tried out several free Final Cut transition packs from Ryan Nangle (it seems like he has a free version with a couple of examples from each of his paid ones). The kind of glitchy and quick pan/blur transitions seemed like they would suit a darker, faster vid, so I decided to focus on, uh, the spider stuff. I had to edit the song a lot on this one, too -- I cut it down in several places, trying to condense the intro/build-up and then main sections of the song to fit within the vid. The vid also started off Tang San focused, and then like halfway through I realised it was also a Xiao Wu vid? It was fun, though, and I like what I ended up with!
