Vexercise Summer School?

Hi again all, and welcome new members especially! At both con.txt and vidukon, bonibaru  and I ran panels on the Vexercises, and there were lost of new interested folks (and some vexercise veterans too :) People expressed interest in a Vexercise Summer School Edition, for those who either have just found the comm and want to give the vexercises a try, or for some folks who started in the Spring but couldn't keep up because of schedules and such. (Or for anyone who just wants to go in for another round!) We also brainstormed some really fun sounding new exercises that could be options as well.

So, what do you think? Is this something you'd be interested in? What time frame would work for you? I was thinking maybe starting July 15th, but we're open to suggestions.

I would be very interested!! I'm super new to vidding and I'm eager to try these exercises! I already tried making pechakucha after the con.txt workshop, although I couldn't find a second song to go with it. It would be fun to try again!

I am definitely interested! I've never vidded before, but saw your panels at VidUKon and con.txt and now I have, like, 80% of a pechakucha? And I have IDEAS for some of the other exercises, so I'm eager to try it out, but definitely think it'd be good to have a "summer school cohort" for moral support!

I'm a huge fan of having Vexercises to work on, so I'll be here! I started vidding (literally for the first time ever) with the first round of Vexercises, and I learn something new with each and every one. ♥

I am so in! July 15 is great, but I actually have very few time restrictions right now, so I'm good with whatever.

I'm very excited! I am not sure how I'll do timing-wise in practice, but worst that happens is I do things slightly off-schedule. After vidukon I started thinking about songs to play with and have been thinking I'll start as soon as I get time and braincells to rub together.

I'm in! I think the time will work out okay for me. I've been struggling with these last few exercises, mainly because I don't have any great ideas, but I'd welcome the chance to try new ones or even do the old ones with a different source.
