VfXercises Check In!

Hi all!! So we’re a week in; is anyone giving the first VfXercise a try? If so, what tool have you ended up using? And how are you finding the challenge? Problems you’ve run in to? Fun discoveries? Tutorials to recommend?

Also, what do you think of the 30 second, 3 second a shot experience? I found it a really fun framework to create a short edit (though 30s is long for an edit in some circles, I know! But for us vidders it’s super short.)

I probably should try and make another one of these in Da Vinci! But nodes scare me lol

And honestly the hardest thing I found was cutting music down to 30 seconds - one minute is hard enough!!!

I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about only using 3 second shots after another video or two of it... It was an interesting challenge in its own right, but I'm not sure how many of the same style I'll want to do.
