Premiere is very expensive so I don't blame you! Oh that's a shame about DVR but if your other program works for you then great! The other thing you could think about doing when your laptop gets fixed if you wanted to try something different is maybe signing up for Final Cut Pro which does work on Windows and I believe you get 90 days free.
