Vexercise 6! How'd it go? Any post-vexercise wisdom to share?

Hi folks! So we've reached the end of our Vex 6 "extension" and are ready to move on to Vex 7 (well, theoretically :D Some of us are still *cough* lost in the endless universe that is typography). For those of you who have completed your genre-shifting or alternative narrative construction videos, how'd it go? How do you feel about the outcome? Any advice for others coming after who are going to give this vexercise a try, in either variation?

...I have not started this but it's one of those things that's really fun to throw ideas around for? And then you realize how much work they take and bail. (And by "you" I mean "me".)

I was having real problems with the genre mashing and then I got hit with an idea post-con (largely inspired by boni and the Vexercises panel discussion) and immediately had to work on it. It all came together in a day which is... bananas, really. I've been watching SO many constructed reality vids lately and I love them so decided to at least give it a go and I'm really happy with it!

Re advice I would just say go wild and just have fun! Don't let the need for perfection stymie your creativity.

I luckily hit on an alternative narrative idea that felt doable with the source material I had, and once I found a compatible song, it came together pretty quickly. I'm happy with how it turned out, and glad I gave it a shot. Thanks for the gentle shove out of my comfort zone!
