Vexercise 6 Drops: Genre mashing/Alternative Universe/Constructed Narrative vexercise!

(So I just am a day late on everything this week... whoops sorry about that)

We're on to Vexercise 6:

The OG Version:

Genre-Mashing/Alternative Universe: Produce a 1 minute video edit that combines your selected source with another source from a different genre (i.e. fantasy, western, sitcom, film noir), and/or use editing to transform the genre of your source text. Audio can be of your choosing.

And the Vexercise 2.0 version:

 

Alternative Narrative: 1 minute vid where you create an alternative/constructed narrative. (I know this is a possibility with the OG version, but it’s hard, and no one really went for it last time--we all leaned much more to the genre mixing side of things!) 
 

Both versions of this vexercise is inspired by the many amazing genre shifting AU/constructed narrative vids coming out of Chinese vidding these days, but there are many histories to these types of genre mash ups. Share your favorites (or share thoughts/ask questions) in the comments!

... Not gonna lie here, I feel like I might've painted myself into a corner for this one. Somehow, at least as much as I did last year.

guys, I think I probably like shows that refuse to stay in one genre box.
