Hmm, well I can try! So basically light building is like motion or graphic matching, but with light. So the thing that you’re connecting from shot to shot is light—could be the movement of the light, the tone, the location/shape... could be building an ebb and flow of light from darker to lighter... it’s subtler than the match on action, but still pulls you through the vid.
